Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a versatile HR Generalist to join our Richards Bay team, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compensation processes. You will be the primary point of contact for staff, ensuring compliance and contributing to a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 2–4 years of generalist HR experience, and is familiar with SA labor law and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Familiarity with South African labor legislation and HRIS software.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews.
• Assist onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Address employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
