Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Information Security GRC Specialist to enhance the organization’s security framework from Mahikeng, North West. The role combines in-office collaboration with remote work in a hybrid setup.

The candidate will develop and maintain security policies, perform risk assessments, and support audits (POPIA, ISO 27001) while driving security awareness and ensuring regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and regulatory knowledge in GRC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee internal and external security compliance audits (e.g., POPIA, ISO 27001).
• Deliver security awareness training to employees.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain GRC documentation and reporting metrics.
