Job summary

E-Merge is seeking an experienced Intermediate Full Stack Software Developer to build enterprise-grade solutions across industries. You will work on the Microsoft stack, create RESTful APIs, and develop responsive frontend with Vue.js or React in an agile environment.

The role emphasizes architecture input, CI/CD participation, and delivering production-grade software with SOLID practices. This is a hybrid, Johannesburg-based permanent position offering up to R540k per year.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade software solutions.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core/.NET 6-8, SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, optimisation).
• Front-end development experience using Vue.js or React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 & CSS3.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
• Experience using Git or similar version control tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 8 Web API.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using Vue.js or React.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server, including performance optimisation and query tuning.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
