Placements24 is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer to contribute to innovative web applications. This hybrid role unites frontend and backend work with product and design teams in Sandton.

You will build scalable, user-friendly apps using modern frameworks, collaborating across disciplines, and thriving in a proactive environment that blends remote flexibility with office-based teamwork in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong frontend with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Robust backend experience with Python, Node.js or Java; databases incl. SQL/NoSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
• Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code across the full stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
