Confluence is seeking an Associate Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Cape Town. The role focuses on delivering technical solutions, combining data engineering, reporting, and troubleshooting across client environments.

The position emphasizes SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing, with growth into broader data and implementation work. You will work in a collaborative, technically driven team within a hybrid Cape Town setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SQL and data structures.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a technical role within data, BI or a similar area.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into technical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a mix of support and new requirements, investigating data issues, building enhancements, and delivering changes across client environments.
• Initially, take ownership of reporting tasks before expanding into broader data and implementation work as experience grows.
• Work on the full data lifecycle from understanding requirements to design, build, test and deployment.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to implement technical solutions for existing clients.
