Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Nursing, Public Health, Community Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in community health, health education, or public health advocacy.
• Strong knowledge of public health principles and common health issues.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Experience in developing and delivering educational materials.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency in basic data collection and record-keeping.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Upington area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging health education programs and workshops on various health topics (e.g., nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, maternal health).
• Conduct outreach activities to connect with community members and assess their health needs.

• Advocate for community health needs with local healthcare providers and policymakers.
