Placements24 is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician for properties in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role covers general upkeep, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional for tenants.

You will work both independently and with a small team, ensuring timely responses to maintenance requests and proper coordination with contractors for specialized repairs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in general building or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common building issues.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance requests.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Conduct minor electrical repairs, such as fixing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
• Perform plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures.
• Complete carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and walls.
• Address general building maintenance issues, including painting, patching, and minor structural repairs.
• Implement and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for building systems and equipment.
