About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong bookkeeping background who enjoys working with numbers and data to provide meaningful insights. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks while supporting management reporting, analysis, and decision-making. If you have a head for numbers, an eye for patterns, and enjoy understanding why things happen in the business — not just recording them — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Prepare month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with preparing management reports and dashboards
  • Analyse variances between actual and budgeted results and identify key trends
  • Support budgeting and forecasting through data collection and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with BAS, payroll tax, and other reporting requirements
  • Needs understanding of Australian, US and UK accounting rules
  • Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures
Skills and Experience
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting / Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to interpret financial data and spot trends
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting software XERO and Microsoft Excel
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and general ledger operations
  • Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Must be fluent in English
Work Schedule

3AM-11 PM, Monday to Friday; Can be adjusted for approval.

Work Location

Office-based but can consider Hybrid, Either Eastwood, SM North, Alabang, Pampanga or Cebu Office. Willing to work onsite at least 2-3x per week.
