You will perform inspections, troubleshoot faults, and uphold airworthiness standards, collaborating with crews and maintenance controllers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Systems Technician or similar role in the aviation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, SA-CAA).
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and maintenance on a variety of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics components.
• Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and component replacements according to technical manuals and airworthiness directives.
• Collaborate with flight crews and maintenance controllers to address aircraft discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, service bulletins, and repairs performed.
• Ensure all work complies with strict aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures.
• Participate in cross-functional team projects to improve overall fleet performance.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians when necessary.
