Job summary

A well-established HVAC company in Gauteng urgently requires HVAC Technicians to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems such as chillers and split units. Candidates should possess a Matric qualification, a Red Seal Trade Test, and have 2–5 years of experience in the field. A valid driver’s license is essential. The role demands strong technical skills and the ability to work under pressure, with additional advantage for Afrikaans speakers.

Qualifications

• 2 – 5 years experience in HVAC installation/maintenance.
• Fluent in English; Afrikaans advantage.
• Valid driver's license (Code 8/B).

REQUIRMENTS:

Education/Certification:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Red Seal Trade Test or NQF Level 4 in Mechanical/Refrigeration
• Qualified Artisan certificate benificial
• Industrial refrigeration trade test & Gas license (preferred for advanced roles)

Experience:

• 2 – 5 years in HVAC installation/maintenance

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (Code 8/B)
• Computer literacy
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans often advantageous)
• Willingness to work overtime and standby
• Strong technical and troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of gas installation and safe handling
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
