About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in keeping advanced cooling and heating systems running smoothly. From boilers and heat pumps to large‑scale HVAC installations, you’ll ensure these vital systems are serviced, maintained, and repaired to the highest standard. You’ll also be the go‑to expert when urgent breakdowns occur, providing quick and effective solutions that keep our clients’ buildings operating without disruption. Our projects span diverse sites across the Netherlands— from hospitals and office buildings to shopping centres— giving you the chance to work with different technologies and environments.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve urgent faults on‑site for cooling, heating, and HVAC systems.
  • Carry out repair work on boilers, pumps, chillers, heat pumps, and related mechanical installations.
  • Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance to keep installations reliable and efficient.
Qualifications
  • A minimum NQF Level 4–5 qualification in mechanical, and / or refrigeration technology (or equivalent).
  • A completed Red Seal trade qualification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within large residential or commercial buildings (e.g. malls, hospitals, office buildings).
  • Proven experience working on cooling and heating systems for buildings, including boilers.
  • Experience with water‑based systems such as HVAC (air and water systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and water cooling/heating installations).
  • Knowledge of f‑gases and compliance with relevant safety regulations.
  • Solid background in mechanical maintenance and building‑related installations.
  • Additional technical training (e.g. HVAC, refrigeration, or boiler systems) is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to participate in standby / on‑call duties approximately once every 6–7 weeks (8 times per year).
  • A valid South African driver’s licence.
  • A good level of the Afrikaans language is required.
