Job summary

A progressive HR firm in Gauteng is seeking an HR Administrator to handle various HR functions including compliance, recruitment, training, and payroll support. The ideal candidate must have Matric, an HR qualification is preferred, and 1-3 years of HR experience. Strong administrative skills and knowledge of South African labour legislation are essential. What You'll Be Doing
  • HR Administration – Maintain employee records, prepare contracts and onboarding packs, and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding – Post vacancies, manage applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate new hire inductions.
  • Training Support – Track training completion, maintain SETA documentation, and assist with internal and external training logistics.
  • Employee Relations – Support disciplinary processes, consultations, and provide guidance on policies and benefits.
  • Payroll & Reporting – Assist with payroll data, audits, and HR reporting.
What You Need to Shine
  • Education – Matric (Grade 12) is essential. An HR qualification (NQF Level 5 or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience – 1–3 years in HR administration or support.
  • Knowledge – Familiarity with South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, etc.).
  • Skills – Strong admin and organisational skills, excellent communication, confidentiality, and proficiency in MS Office (HRIS / payroll systems are a bonus).
