Job description

Our client is in need of a young dynamic HR Manager at our offices outside Durbanville. The group consists of 5 companies with 4 sites and about 270 staff. You will be reporting to the MD but will work mostly independently.

Some of the key responsibilities:
  • Recruitment, Selection to On-boarding (the total lifecycle)
  • Policies, Procedures and Legal Compliance – improve, implement and maintain
  • Performance Management (KPA’s)
  • Facilitating training and development
  • Employee relations – strategic link between management and employee
  • Share the employer’s vision and strategies to execute that vision
  • Manage: Absenteeism, hearings, performance enquiries, job descriptions, organograms, training, etc.
  • Involved with time sheet approval, SDL, H4M, provident fund claims, etc.
Other essential requirements:
  • Well organised and adaptable
  • Good communication skills: verbally, telephonically or via e-mail
  • Matric with the necessary diploma or degree
  • At least 10 years’ proven experience in the above responsibilities
  • Speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently
  • With your work ethic and sober habits, you will fit this team
  • Excellent management skills, problem solver and be very diplomatic
  • Very strong administrative skills
