Role Summary

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

The role ensures compliance with South African labour law, provides day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, and contributes to HR projects and process improvements in partnership with key stakeholders across the business.

What Will You Do?
  • Support end-to-end recruitment and employee integration processes, including job advertising, CV screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding of new employees;
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance and support, and escalating complex or sensitive matters where required;
  • Manage day-to-day HR administration, including maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, policies, and HRIS data;
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including training programs etc.;
  • Support performance management processes by assisting managers with goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback;
  • Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and monitoring of HR related budgets;
  • Ensure compliance with South African labour law and internal policies;
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations to support business objectives; and
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as needed.
What Are We Looking For?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role;
  • Working knowledge of South African labour law;
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office;
  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional South African languages is advantageous;
  • High level of confidentiality, organisation, and professionalism.
