Human Resources Business Partner – Johannesburg, Gauteng
Salary: R48K CTC Per Month

Purpose of Position: Complement Recruitment is recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner for a position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner and advisor to the respective brand and support the HR strategy.
- Develop and implement the HR plan to enable the business in achieving business objectives, identify gaps and propose changes.
- Implement the Talent Management Framework, manage talent acquisition, succession planning and design effective talent retention programmes for key and scarce skills.
- Support processes and initiatives to achieve Employment Equity and transformation objectives.
- Co‑ordinate the recruitment process from vacancy to placement in line with the Workforce Plan of the brand and ensure an effective onboarding process for new staff.
- Develop and implement a talent development plan and a robust coaching and mentorship programme for key talent and the management team.
- Drive the performance improvement process, assist line managers to give continuous feedback and simplify the performance management process.
- Oversee the position management and related budget for the respective brand, manage salary benchmarking, compile comparative ratios, conduct ad‑hoc market surveys and advise on solutions.
- Provide first‑line resolution to employee relations matters, identify and address risk situations, manage employee movement and separation processes, and attend disciplinary hearings as an observer.
- Compile and present meaningful, accurate and timely HR reports, ensure data integrity of the HR system and interpret relevant research on best practice for HR analytics.
- Implement HR business processes, report on levels of compliance, identify and report HR‑related risks and develop strategies to minimise or eliminate risk.
- Ensure legislative compliance with the Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act, LRA, BCEA and group HR policies, service level agreements and culture and engagement objectives, reinforce the culture of continuous learning, promote organisational transformation and manage diversity in the workplace.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Degree, Honours or Post‑Graduate in Labour Law/Relations.
- 5 to 8 years experience as Human Resource Consultant/Officer.
- 3 years as Manager.
- Strong strategic partnership, talent management, transformation, HR analytics and governance experience.
