To provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support across the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding logistics, ensuring the seamless execution of HR processes, maintaining data integrity, and acting as a first point of contact for employee related queries.
Skills & Competencies
- Minimum Education: A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial and Organisational Psychology or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel proficiency (Non‑negotiable). Must be able to perform calculations and analysis using formulas (e.g., length of service, turnover rates) and data analysis tools like Pivot Tables.
- HRIS & Payroll System Proficiency: Experience with systems such as Sage, Intoweb, or Ecotime is required for accurately capturing data and consolidating payroll input.
- Practical Knowledge of SA Labour Law: A working knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, EE Act, and POPIA is essential.
- Behavioural Competencies: Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, a high level of integrity and confidentiality, and a strong customer‑service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end offboarding administrative processes.
- Prepare employment contracts, promotion letters, termination documents, and other HR‑related correspondence.
- Maintain % accurate and up‑to‑date employee records (digital and physical) in the HRIS.
- Coordinate and schedule all interview stages between candidates and hiring managers.
- Collate, verify, and consolidate all monthly payroll input data for submission.
- Administer the time and attendance system by ensuring data accuracy and generating weekly reports.
- Prepare and consolidate documentation and data for statutory submissions (e.g., Employment Equity, WSP / ATR).
