Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Administrator located in Midrand.

The HR Administrator will be responsible for assisting with HR functions, and maintaining HRIS. The role also involves ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, assisting in HR management tasks, and supporting the overall HR strategy.

Qualifications

Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills; Experience or proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc); Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); Knowledge with Payspace or SAGE VIP (Advantageous); Understanding of Labor and Employment Law; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Ability to work on-site in Midrand; Human Resources related diploma or Degree ( HR, Industrial Psychology or similar); HR Management General.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare (Sorters) onboarding documents for Human Resources Manager to authorize
  • Create and issue employees Take-on Documents
  • Upload employee documents onto HRIS
  • Request and follow up on missing employee documents from line Managers
  • Assist with screening and shortlisting potential candidates for vacancies
  • Capture New Recruits Uniform requisitions on NAV system.
  • Prepare and issue UIF documents to terminated employees
Payroll Admin
  • Scan / Send Time sheets
  • Filing and Uploading payroll related documents to HRIS
  • Prepare (AOD) Acknowledgement of Debts and issue to sorters and submit to Payroll

You understand the need for Deadlines to be met consistently. If for whatever reason, you are unable to meet your deadlines, it is your responsibility to communicate any problem areas or the reasons for the delay.

Administrative Duties
  • Perform all duties as associated with your position
  • Do all necessary filing
  • Report any unresolved issues to Human Resources Manager timeously
  • Ensure all employee files are complete and updated
Comply with SHEQ Management Administration
  • Assist with compiling Health and Safety files
  • Compile all required documents in Health and Safety files
  • Ensure that FM'S receive updated Health & Safety Site files
