HR Manager - Logistics Company based in Newcastle

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee talent acquisition, including job postings, interviews, and hiring processes for positions across logistics operations (drivers, warehouse staff, coordinators, etc.).
  • Employee Development: Implement training programs to enhance skills, safety practices, and employee performance.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and maintain a positive working environment through effective communication.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll, benefits administration, and ensure competitive compensation packages are in place.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to local, state, and federal labor laws, including health and safety regulations.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and managing performance improvement plans.
  • HR Policies: Develop and enforce company policies related to attendance, discipline, and employee conduct.
  • Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing needs and collaborate with leadership to address current and future HR requirements.
