JANUARY
The school wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the position of Human Resource Administrator
The HR Administrator will support the HR department by managing documentation, coordinating processes, and maintaining accurate records, all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including placing job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Draft employment contracts and offer letters in line with school policies.
Verify candidate documentation and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
Prepare and manage all documentation related to employee movements, including promotions, transfers, resignations, and terminations.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of exit documentation
Collect and verify monthly payroll inputs such as leave records, overtime, and changes in employee status.
Liaise with the Payroll Service Provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Address payroll-related queries from staff and ensure resolution in a professional manner.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date employee files, in accordance with POPI Act requirements.
Track and update employee data including personal details, job titles, and contract terms.
Ongoing refinement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
Ensure all HR-related documents are consistently formatted and aligned with the school's approved templates and standards.
Drive the standardization of policies across departments to promote clarity, compliance, and operational efficiency
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR administrative practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Proven experience in an HR administrative role, preferably within an educational or similar professional environment.
Strong understanding of HR processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in MS Office
Relevant HR or administrative qualification or certification will be advantageous.
An understanding of the LRA, and BCEA acts.
Highly organised, and manage multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
