Job Description: An exciting opportunity to start your career with a leading South African Fashion Retailer in a dynamic, growing Human Resource Development team is now open.

This role will include providing administrative and coordination support to the Human Resource Development Team that manages and enhances the industry leading graduate training programme, and other training and development initiatives for Truworths.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HRD Administrator to join our team.

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective administration for our leading graduate programme and merchant training, ensuring that graduates have the necessary resources to develop the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

This role is a key part of supporting our company's growth and development, and you will play a crucial part in creating a learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Administration and Assistance: Acting as the central point of contact in the department, handling queries and general information
  • General administration and housekeeping of the department
  • Administrative support of Graduate Training Programme: Facilitating the first day orientation of graduates, Managing the graduate programme mailbox and communication, Providing HR Mentors, Trainers and Trainees with general support, Administration of programme processes and reports
  • Administration and Coordination of Merchant Training: Coordinating the pre and post logistics of training interventions, Development for training material enhancement
  • Qualifications and Experience: HR or related degree is preferred, 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative environment
  • Technical Competencies: Results driven with good problem solving ability, Advanced computer literacy, Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), Highly organised and detail orientated, Good time management
