- Implement and support the rollout of new company policies and HR initiatives
- Act as an HR consultant to management and staff on policies, procedures, and compliance matters
- Address employee queries on matters related to compensation, labour legislation, and other HR-related issues
- Support business units and operations with HR-related problem-solving, conflict resolution, and project implementation
- Monitor and inspect compliance with labour laws and HR standards across the organization
- Promote effective communication and collaboration between operational teams and Head Office HR functions
Preferred Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills
- Law Degree, with specialization in Labour Law
- Alternatively, a B.Com Degree with a focus in Human Resources, with strong Labour Law knowledge
- An Honours Degree or higher-level qualification will be considered an advantage
- Proven experience in a senior management or specialized HR / IR role
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated team management experience
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and data-driven decision-making
