Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in South Africa is searching for an HR and Training Manager to lead human resources functions across the organization. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including leadership roles. Fluency in Afrikaans and English is required. The position is based in Centurion and offers a competitive remuneration package.

HR and Training Manager

As the HR & Training Manager, you will lead the full spectrum of human resources and training functions across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing :
  • HR Leadership & Team Management : Lead and manage the HR and Training team to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Talent & Performance Management : Design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
  • Payroll & HR Operations : Manage payroll in collaboration with Finance, maintain HR systems, and ensure accurate employee records and reporting.
  • Training & Development : Develop and implement training strategies, liaise with SETA, and ensure compliance with WSP / ATR submissions.
  • Labour Relations & Compliance : Provide expert guidance on labour matters and ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
  • Culture & Engagement : Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellness, and inclusion.
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing : Chair the Health & Safety Committee and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
What You Need to Shine :
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership and people management exposure.
  • Legislation Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation, HR best practices, and payroll administration.
  • Training & SETA : Experience in training and development, SETA liaison, and WSP / ATR submission / Registered Skills Development Facilitator.
  • Generalist HR : Strong generalist HR background covering recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Language : Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Remuneration : R CTC per month

Location : Centurion Based
