TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: HR Trainee within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

This role involves providing accurate, professional support to the HR function by assisting with recruitment processes and general HR administration. The incumbent will help with drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and maintaining accurate HRIS records. The role also includes loading new hires onto the SAGE 300 HR system, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and providing administrative support across various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and update job descriptions for new and existing roles
  • Advertise vacancies on internal and external platforms with strong attention to detail
  • Screen CVs and prepare accurate, high-quality shortlists
  • Schedule and conduct interviews when needed, and provide timely candidate feedback
  • Conduct employment reference checks and MIE background verifications
  • Maintain detailed interview records for HR approval packs
  • Load new hire information into the SAGE 300 People system accurately and on time
  • Contribute to ongoing job profiling and HR system enhancements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or a related field (advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong interest in recruitment and talent processes
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage high-volume vacancies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to change
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Proactive, reliable and eager to learn
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Bilingual: Afrikaans & English (advantageous)
  • Driver’s License: Code 08 (advantageous)
