Job description
Introduction

A leading international mining company based in Polokwane, Limpopo, is seeking a skilled HR, Recruiting and Labour Relations Specialist to join their dynamic Human Resources team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in South African labour law, recruitment, and employee relations, with experience in the mining, construction, or engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and ensure recruitment aligns with EEA and B-BBEE targets.
  • Serve as the main contact for employee relations matters and ensure compliance with LRA, BCEA, and EEA.
  • Support and participate in disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, and CCMA matters.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR records, and reports.
  • Manage employee onboarding, exits, and HR analytics (EEA reporting, turnover, recruitment metrics).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ HR experience in a Generalist or Labour Relations capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA).
  • Experience in Mining, Construction or Engineering is essential.
  • Previous international corporate experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Fully Bilingual.
