Job summary

A leading technology solutions firm in Durban is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee payroll management and employee relations. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and at least 5 years of relevant experience in HR, particularly in payroll functions. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Sage VIP Payroll are essential. This role will also require the management of talent acquisition and compliance with legal labor requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant HR experience, with at least 5 years directly responsible for managing an organizational payroll function.

Payroll Management
  • Experience in the hospitality, estate management, or corporate sector is highly advantageous.
  • Compliance & Submissions : Accurately calculate, reconcile, and ensure the prompt submission of all statutory contributions (PAYE, UIF, SDL) and third-party payments (e.g. medical aid, pension / provident fund, garnishee orders).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Demonstrable working knowledge of Sage VIP Payroll and Sage HR is a significant advantage.
