Job summary

A human resources recruitment agency in Durban is seeking an experienced payroll and benefits professional to handle end-to-end payroll management and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience with the Sage 300 People system, along with a strong understanding of statutory reporting and labour legislation. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and candidates should be prepared to support both employees and managers with people-related matters.

Job description
Role purpose :

Process the end-to-end Payroll and Benefit management activities (incl. Employee benefits, Sage 300 People system, and Reporting) at IUA.

Support the implementation of smart people management practices, enabling employee engagement and supporting organisational health.

Responsible to serve as a trusted partner on all people related matters to both employees and managers.

Education & Experience :

Completion or significant progress towards the completion of a recognised and appropriate qualification is a requirement.

Qualifications:
  • 5 years’ relevant and appropriate payroll, remuneration and benefits experience
  • Proven track record working on the Sage 300 People HR, Payroll, and Self-service systems
  • Proven success working with statutory reporting, budgets, employee tax, UIF, and SDL
  • BCEA, LRA, OHS and related labour legislation knowledge and application
  • Knowledge of payroll related financial conceptsMust be proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
