A well‑established metal and engineering specialist serving the industrial sector is currently seeking an HR Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations across multiple functions including recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Administer payroll using Sage Cloud‑based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.
• Coordinate MIBFA (Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators) and MEIBC (Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council) compliance and benefits administration.
• Support employee relations, performance management, leave and absence tracking and general HR administration.
• Facilitate psychometric assessments as part of candidate screening and employee development.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate relevant reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of solid generalist HR experience.
• Prior experience within the metal or engineering industry is essential.
• Experience with MIBFA and MEIBC benefits and bargaining council processes essential.
• Proficiency with Sage Cloud‑based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.
• Comfortable facilitating and interpreting psychometric assessments.
