Job summary
A leading human resources firm in Durban is seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage union matters and engage with executives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of HR experience and strong knowledge of Sage 300 Payroll. This role offers the chance to handle industrial relations matters and uphold company policies effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Officer with strong IR and union exposure.
- Confident and assertive personality able to say 'no' when necessary.
- Experience working with Sage 300 Payroll (essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage at all levels of the business, including executives.
- Minimum 5+ years HR experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve union matters effectively.
- Engage and communicate with Senior and Executive Management.
- Uphold company policies and procedures with confidence.
- Handle industrial relations matters, including drafting and issuing warnings.
- Conduct interviews and recruitment processes.
- Manage Employment Equity submissions and participate in EE meetings.
- Oversee and administer Payroll (Sage 300).
