Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and professional HR Officer with strong HR / IR experience to support our clients across various sites.

This is a junior to mid-level role ideal for someone who is confident, well-spoken, and ready to take ownership of HR / IR processes. Location: Centurion. Industry: HR / IR Services. Travel: Frequent site visits across Gauteng (Centurion, Midrand, Olifantsfontein, Pretoria).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage workplace relationships and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
  • Issue warnings on sites and chair disciplinary hearings.
  • Handle grievances, union engagements, and assist with CCMA cases.
  • Provide HR / IR support based on client needs and conduct regular site visits.
  • Maintain accurate records including IOD capturing.
  • Deal with all injury on duty cases.
  • Train and support employees regarding policies and fair employment practices.
  • Draft disciplinary outcomes and advise management on HR matters.
  • Communicate professionally with unions within the workplace.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong working knowledge of South African labour law.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent Conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure with Unions on IR and HR Related Matters.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Multilingual

Must speak English + any of Zulu, Tswana, Pedi, Sotho, Tsonga.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • HR Certificate (minimum).

  • Proven experience chairing disciplinary hearings, issuing warnings, and managing CCMA matters.
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office & Outlook).
Other Requirements
  • Valid Code B driver's licence + experience driving across Gauteng.
  • Must live within a 30km radius of Centurion.
