Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, contributing to the overall business strategy.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding. Oversee talent management initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a harmonious and legally compliant workplace.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labour laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Manage disciplinary processes and employee grievances.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and create programmes to enhance employee skills and foster career growth.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll, manage employee benefits programmes, and ensure competitive compensation practices.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, oversee HR‑related systems and data management, and manage all employment documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum years of experience in HR management, preferably within the wholesale, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
- In‑depth knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with HR software systems and data management.
- Excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
