A leading hospitality group in Johannesburg seeks an HR leader to drive culture, diversity, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resource Management, at least 5 years of HR leadership experience, and deep knowledge of labour laws. Anticipate hiring needs and lead recruitment with flair - from sourcing to offer.
Design onboarding experiences that leave lasting first impressions.
Develop and evolve HR policies that reflect modern best practices.
Ensure full compliance with Mauritian labour laws and internal standards.
Roll out meaningful performance review systems that encourage growth.
Guide leaders in coaching, feedback, and performance improvement.
Identify development opportunities and coordinate impactful training programs.
Support succession planning and build future leaders.
Act as a trusted advisor and conflict mediator.
Launch initiatives that spark motivation, connection, and recognition.
Oversee accurate payroll processing and time & attendance systems.
Recommend salary reviews, promotions, and incentive plans based on merit and market benchmarks.
Deliver clear and insightful HR reports to senior leadership.
Manage and track the HR budget to ensure cost efficiency.
Support line managers with fair, transparent disciplinary processes.
Maintain detailed and confidential records of employee relations.
Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
At least 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
Deep knowledge of Mauritian labour law and HR compliance.
Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
Discreet, organized, proactive, and solutions focused.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sicorax.
Fluent in both English and French.
