Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Cape Town is seeking an HR Manager to provide strategic HR support and business partnering. This role requires at least 7-10 years of HR management experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Responsibilities include managing recruitment processes, facilitating training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills, alongside advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise. The position offers significant scope for HR influence within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years' HR Management experience.
  • Experience within the financial services industry, preferably in a Distribution channel.
  • Sound knowledge of BCEA, EE, LRA, OHSA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing HR support and business partnering focusing on achieving business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner with Distribution EXCO Business.
  • Oversee recruitment and talent management for the Distribution channel.
  • Manage onboarding and off-boarding programs for new employees.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives.
  • Manage the succession planning process and retention strategy.
  • Support Distribution transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going HR support and business partnering, focusing on achieving business objectives by leveraging the HR agenda
  • Strategic partner with Distribution EXCO Business
  • Recruitment and talent management
  • Overseeing all recruitment activities for the Distribution channel
  • Responsible for onboarding programs for new employees including acquisitions as well as off-boarding
  • Training and Development and facilitation initiatives
  • Facilitation of monthly Distribution induction
  • Facilitation of all legislative and regulatory training
  • Management of succession planning process as well as implementation of retention strategy
  • Managing and overseeing all IR matters for the division
  • Rigorous weekly and monthly analysis and reporting
  • Provide support on all Distribution transformation initiatives
  • Managing bi-annual performance review cycle including performance management training and personal development plans
  • Responsible for Health and Safety compliance for the division
  • Provide "hands-on" management of HR requirements to ensure the effective delivery of HR services
