Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HR Manager in Brits.   • Manage employee relations and legal matters.

Responsibilities
  1. Statutory - UIF, COIDA, Dept of Labour, Displays, Occupational H & S
  2. Employee Management
    • Conduct employee engagement sessions in the field
    • Issue termination notice letters for the seasonal workers
    • Prepare and administer salary increase letters
    • Manage salary advances and related administration
    • Coordinate performance appraisals
    • Oversee leave management processes
    • Process contract amendments
    • Maintain proper filing and record-keeping
  3. Recruitment
    • Advertise vacancies
    • Engage with community leaders for recruitment initiatives
    • Support Corporate Social Investment (CSI) activities
    • Conduct inductions and maintained attendance registers
    • Prepare and manage supporting documents: EEA1 forms, take-on forms, and POPI Act compliance
    • Perform ID verifications for new hires
  4. FCS / Admin
    • Time and Attendance; Capturing 200 - 300 employees into the system
    • Sending daily reports from FCS
    • Handling pay-related queries and resolving escalations
    • Created SOP for the Devices users
    • Employee Contracts
    • Engaging with community leaders
    • CSI Corporate Social Investment initiatives
    • Conducting inductions and maintaining attendance registers
    • Managing supporting documents: EEA1 forms
    • Take-on forms POPI Act compliance
    • Performing ID verifications
