HR Generalist (Manufacturing) required in Bronkhorstspruit.
A manufacturing company is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to manage key HR functions, in a factory based environment.
Responsibilities include employee relations, compliance with labour laws and disciplinary processes.
The role also involves payroll administration, benefits management, recruitment, onboarding, and supporting performance appraisals.
You will oversee Employment Equity reporting, maintain HR systems and records, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Salary: R35 000 to R40 000 per month.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Skilled at using an HR/Payroll systems
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR position
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Payroll Administration
- HR system knowledge and experience
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrable labour relations experience
- Practical experience working in all areas of the HR function
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent labour relations skills
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Ability to complete basic calculations, analyze, and compile HR reports
- Organized, deadline-driven, and good time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through communication and employee engagement initiatives
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with current labour laws and best practices
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements related to employment
- Manage internal disciplinary processes, including advising managers, compiling warnings, organizing hearings, and representing the company at the CCMA
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical aid, pension funds, and other perks
- Compile employment contracts, work-back agreements, and other related agreements
- Support performance appraisal processes, assist in developing KPA scorecards, and create performance improvement plans
- Take responsibility for monthly payroll administration, leave management, and system data accuracy
- Manage employee particulars and ensure all filing and paperwork are completed monthly
- Organize and manage quarterly Employment Equity meetings, assist in compiling EE reports, and track EE Plan progress
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including induction, job postings, screening, and job offers
- Maintain accurate employee records and databases, prepare HC and audit reports, and update POPIA registers
- Create purchase orders, obtain payment approvals, and follow up on proof of payments for compliance
