Job Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting all aspects of HR operations and administration within the organization. This role involves collaborating with management and employees to enhance engagement, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and facilitate effective HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, facilitating hiring, and coordinating onboarding activities (orientation sessions and paperwork).
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance and resolution, and assist in resolving conflicts and disciplinary issues per company policies.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations; assist in HR audits and corrective actions.
- Performance Management: Support goal setting, performance evaluations, and improvement plans; guide managers and employees on performance matters.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives; identify training needs and recommend programs.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries; coordinate with providers and ensure accurate administration.
- HR Data Management: Maintain HR records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality; prepare reports and analytics for management.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist or similar position.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
