Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and staff administration.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and staff on HR policies and labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, etc.).
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR systems and procedures.
  • Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters.
  • Assist in performance management processes and staff development.
  • Coordinate training, skills development, and BBBEE compliance where applicable.
  • Support payroll preparation and employee benefits administration.
  • Promote employee engagement, wellness, and a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 2–4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
  • Knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, HRIS experience beneficial).
