Job description
Key Responsibilities

Prepare onboarding paperwork and schedules to ensure a smooth new-hire experience.

Manage all administrative tasks for onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews, including HRIS data entry and compliance audits.

Provide expert HR advisory support on absence management, health issues, grievances, and employee relations matters.

Serve as the primary backup for payroll processing, including updates to employee files, pay adjustments, and benefits changes.

Support the maintenance and communication of company policies, SOPs, and organizational charts.

Collaborate with multiple departments Finance, Compliance, Facilities, Human Capital, and Learning & Development to ensure alignment, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Ensure all HR templates, onboarding documentation, and compliance records are current and aligned with legal and best-practice standards.

Promote a positive company culture by supporting employee engagement, training, and performance initiatives.

Support continuous improvement through HR data analysis and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

Proven experience in an HR department or generalist role.

Strong knowledge of South African employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
