HR Assistant Parow

A well-established automotive wholesaler is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join the team at its Parow branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in an organised environment, and can handle confidential HR processes with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end recruitment, including preparing offer letters, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining employee files.
  • Assist with payroll updates, benefits administration, and ensuring HR records are accurate and current.
  • Help ensure compliance by updating HR documentation, supporting audits, and preparing HR reports.
  • Coordinate internal communication, training arrangements, and employment equity administration.
  • Maintain orderly HR filing systems and provide general administrative support.
  • Assist with disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance reviews, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support to the HR Manager with projects, employee engagement initiatives, and ad-hoc HR tasks.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • HR qualification or relevant diploma (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar HR administrative role.
  • Sound understanding of HR principles, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking ability.
