Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our HR department and assist with various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation, and setting up employee files
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with employee relations, including conducting investigations and documenting employee complaints
  • Maintain and update HR databases and systems
  • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR support role
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Contract Details

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The HR Assistant will report to the HR Manager and work from our office in Durban, South Africa.
