We are looking for an HR and Payroll Administrator to join the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administrative support and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of HR and payroll practices in compliance with South African labour legislation.
The role reports directly to the HR Practitioner.
Administer the full payroll process, including data input, reconciliation, and submission to HR Practitioner and Finance Manager.
Maintain employee records and HR files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare and issue employment contracts, letters, and documentation.
Manage onboarding, probation tracking, and contract renewals.
Process employee terminations and prepare UI19 and other statutory documents.
Assist with employee benefits administration (medical aid, provident fund, etc.).
Support recruitment and selection processes where needed.
Month‑end and financial year‑end procedures and processes are accurate and on time.
All legislative and company reconciliations and payments processed within required timeframes.
Good understanding of current payroll accounting & HR legislation.
Compile HR and payroll reports for management and audits.
Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, and company policies.
Exposure to CCMA documentation or HR compliance support.
Previous experience in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment.
National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Payroll Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in HR and payroll administration.
Strong knowledge of BCEA, LRA, and payroll legislation.
Experience using Sage VIP (or similar HRIS / payroll system).
Excellent Excel and administrative skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Must have own transport.
