Job description

This role supports the Shared Services HR function with a primary emphasis on managing the full employee lifecycle for seasonal staff. The position ensures all seasonal employment actions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with internal policies and timelines. The HR Administrator also provides support to the broader HR Administration team during periods of lower seasonal activity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Seasonal Employee Onboarding
  • Process all seasonal employee appointments from offer acceptance through to onboarding completion.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.
2. Seasonal Employee Status Changes
  • Manage seasonal employee transfers where applicable, ensuring accurate updates in HR systems.
  • Process promotions and transitions from seasonal to permanent status at the end of each season.
  • Maintain accurate employee records reflecting all status changes.
3. Seasonal Employee Terminations
  • Process end-of-contract terminations for seasonal employees once their contracts expire.
  • Ensure termination actions are completed in line with company procedures and communicated clearly to line managers.
  • Update HR systems and files to reflect termination outcomes.
4. Stakeholder Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for Regional Managers and Recruitment teams regarding seasonal staffing queries.
  • Provide guidance on processes, timelines, and policy requirements.
  • Escalate issues as required to ensure timely resolution.
5. Team Support
  • Assist the existing HR Administrators during periods of reduced seasonal activity.
  • Support general HR administration tasks such as maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and contributing to team workload management.
