Job summary

A Human Capital consultancy in Johannesburg seeks an HR Officer to manage recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration. Candidates must have a Grade 12 qualification and a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word, are essential. Knowledge of relevant legislation is also required. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric plus a relevant Diploma or Degree.
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of Labour Relations Act, BCEA, EEA, SDA.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and induction processes.
  • Manage employee onboarding and payroll monthly.
  • Process employee benefits and handle terminations.
  • Compile HR and Payroll reports and ensure compliance.

Job description
  • Grade 12 / Matric plus a Diploma / Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, Payroll
  • Code 8 driver's licence
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in similar environment with primary responsibility of benefits administration and support of other functional areas in Human Capital.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of related legislation : (Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment (BCEA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), Skills Development Act (SDA)
  • Duties will include -

    • Recruitment and Induction
    • Employee take-on and monthly payroll
    • Processing of benefits
    • Terminations
    • Employment Equity and Worker Forums
    • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
    • Compile HR and Payroll reports
    • Employee files and attend to queries
    • Coordinate induction training and other training sessions
