Job description
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update employee records with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality

Prepare employment documentation including contracts, confirmation letters, and policy updates

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics including welcome packs, system access, and exit checklists

Capture and verify HR data and ensure systems are up to date

Schedule probation reviews, training interventions, and general follow-ups

Advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks

Prepare offer letters and track recruitment activity

Assist with orientation logistics and induction planning

Support the administration of employee benefits and wellness programmes

Assist employees with benefit queries and documentation

Ensure employee files and documentation meet audit and legal requirements

Maintain data integrity across HR records and systems

Coordinate internal engagement activities, wellness events, and recognition programmes

Assist with the logistics and coordination of disciplinary, grievance, or counselling sessions

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)

2+ years’ experience in an HR administrative or support role

Solid knowledge of HR practices and legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience using HR platforms or HRIS is advantageous
