Job summary

A leading regional water partnership in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Administration Officer. This role involves managing HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting governance structures. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in NGOs, and strong knowledge of South African Labour Law. This is a full-time position with responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of HR and administration experience, preferably in NGOs.
  • Knowledge of South African Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience supporting governance or Board-level structures.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, selection, and contracts management.
  • Administer staff time and leave, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Secretary and Board.
