We are looking for a confident, efficient and guest focused Room Service Coordinator with strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability and the calm, polished service approach needed to manage in room dining requests. You will support both Front Office and Food and Beverage teams to ensure every order is delivered accurately, on time and with the high standards The President is known for.

What We Are Looking For
  • Valid South African ID or work permit
  • Matric Grade 12
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a hotel room service, front office, call centre or guest service role
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills
  • Ability to handle multiple orders, requests and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and ordering platforms advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with F and B, Kitchen and Front Office teams
  • Professional grooming and a calm, welcoming service demeanour
  • Willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays
What You Will Do
  • Handle all incoming room service calls in a warm, professional and timely manner
  • Record and process room service orders accurately on the POS system
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar and service teams to ensure smooth preparation and delivery
  • Coordinate delivery times and prioritise orders based on urgency and guest expectations
  • Follow up with guests post delivery to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns
  • Assist in preparing order trays, condiments and amenities when required
  • Maintain accurate logs of orders, preferences, special requests and service notes
  • Support Front Office with guest communication and relay messages to relevant departments
  • Ensure all administrative tasks, reports and checklists are completed each shift
  • Uphold hygiene, safety and service standards at all times
  • Work closely with supervisors to improve service flow and enhance the in room dining experience
