We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist.

Job Description

As a Hotel Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails and messages in a timely manner
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience
  • Assist with reservations and room assignments
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude and sense of urgency
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Attend to any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or General Manager
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
