What You Will Do
  • Assist in leading and coordinating the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and seamless execution throughout the day.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to achieve departmental goals.
  • Be a visible and hands on leader, engaging with guests, resolving concerns, and ensuring every interaction reflects warmth and professionalism.
  • Supervise service teams during busy periods, maintaining consistency, timing, and service quality.
  • Work closely with the culinary team and outlet supervisors to enhance menus, improve service flow, and uphold presentation standards.
  • Assist in managing events, functions, and special promotions, ensuring all details are perfectly executed.
  • Oversee ordering, stock control, supplier relationships, and inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct floor checks and pre service briefings to ensure all outlets are guest ready.
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld in all outlets.
  • Support training, development, and performance management to build a motivated and professional team.
What You Will Bring
  • Matric
  • Relevant hospitality qualification
  • Min 3 years of experience in food and beverage leadership or assistant management roles within busy 4 or 5 star hotel environments
  • Strong understanding of large scale restaurant and bar operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams under pressure
  • Working knowledge of Micros Simphony, Opera, and Dineplan
  • Sound operational and financial awareness with strong attention to detail
  • A calm, solutions driven approach and a genuine passion for service excellence
