The Position

Based at Wearne, Dudley Park, your role as laundry and kitchen services is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. If you’re dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere and take pride in high standards, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our seniors every day!

This is a permanent part-time role offering 40 hours per fortnight.

Week 1

Tuesday – Friday 07:30-14:30

Week 2

Tuesday – Wednesday 06:00-13:30

Thursday-Friday – 07:30-14:30

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
  • Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
  • Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
  • Manage laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule
  • Prepares and plates food, serves and clears away meals in line with food preparation schedules
  • Maintains the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards
  • Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
  • Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
Essential Criteria
  • Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
  • NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
  • Willingness to attend 2 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
