Job summary

The Business Exchange is seeking a Hospitality Hostess to maintain a welcoming, impeccably clean, and professional environment for tenants and staff in Cape Town. You will uphold high hospitality standards, ensuring a premium workplace experience and safe, valued environments for tenants, employees, visitors, and clients.

Responsibilities include proactive cleaning of offices and boardrooms, kitchen duties, stock reporting, waste management, and assisting with reception duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Proven background in cleaning and maintaining corporate spaces.
• Experience receiving guests is a plus.
• Computer literacy and English language proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of offices, common areas, and boardrooms before tenants arrive and after they leave.
• Clean desks, chairs, blinds, artwork, coffee stations, shelves, kitchen, carpets, and other surfaces daily.
• Pro‑active cleaning of boardrooms after each meeting.
• Manage kitchen cleaning and dishware, including washing and drying with separate equipment.
• Report stock levels of coffee, cleaning materials, tea, sugar, milk, and utensils weekly and monthly to Centre Liaisons.
• Empty bins and manage waste, ensuring hygienic practices.
• Vacuum cleaning of carpeted areas and spot cleaning.
• Set-up of new offices and preparation for move-in.
• Serve coffee and tea for visitors and tenants in boardrooms.
• Clean restrooms, showers, glass windows, and water coolers meticulously.
