The Position

Based at Kinross Care Centre in Kinross, your role as a Cleaner is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. If you’re dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere and take pride in high standards, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our seniors every day!

This is a part‑time role offering 45.50 hours per fortnight.

Week 1

Monday: 0700‑1400

Wednesday: 0700‑1400

Saturday: 0700‑1400

Week 2

Monday: 0700‑1400

Tuesday: 0700‑1400

Wednesday: 0700‑1400

Saturday: 0700‑1400

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routine
  • Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
  • Follows cleaning schedule
  • Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
  • Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
  • Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
Essential Criteria
  • Evidence of COVID‑19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6‑month validity)
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment medical and reference checks
  • NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
  • Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
